Allison Goodwin has always been interested in the things that are left behind. From uncovering ghost stories of the places she's visited to exploring the end of the word through post-apocalyptic fiction, Allison collects the pieces of humanity we leave behind and reveals reflections of who we are.
With more than fifteen years of professional writing experience, her credits include several years as a freelance kid reporter for The Country Journal, the creator of a county-sponsored peer counseling training course, a psychological researcher, and a content marketing professional. Now, she's setting her sights on adding "novelist" to her list of accomplishments.
Allison was born and raised in the high desert outside of Los Angeles. She's a lover of rusty ghost towns, arid mountains, and the rolling thunderheads of a Mojave monsoon. She often draws on her time traveling the southwest in her writing and loves planning her next road trip. When she isn't on the road, you can find her living on the outskirts of Los Angeles with her partner and fellow author Jonathan Strauss, and their sassy black cat, Wednesday.
