New Year, New Projects & the Wastelanders Ball 2019
Hey there! Long time, no see. I’ve been a bit busy of late, since I’ve gotten involved in a few new projects. I’m super excited to see how they turn out, and my friends and I have been chipping away at them to get them off the ground. I’ll keep you all updated as we get closer to launching them!
Wastelanders Ball 2019
If you’ve paid any attention at all, you’ve probably noticed I’m a big fan of post-apocalyptic events, and the annual Wastelanders Ball is no exception! This year’s gala was held on January 5th at the gorgeous Globe Theater in LA, featuring three levels of performances, dancing, and tribe lounges. Hundreds of wastelanders gathered in their vision of post-apocalyptic finery to revel (and scare the hell out of the greater DTLA area).
Attendees were entertained by a number of stellar acts, including musician Marley Munroe, who made her Wasteland debut at last year’s Wasteland weekend, Hell’s Sirens, an electrifying dance troupe, Wretched Embers with an incredible fan act and grinder performance, aerialists Angels of Ruin, the mystifying magician Sand Demon, and DJs Steph Infection, DJ Brucifer, SARK, and Vourteque. Everywhere you went throughout the event, there was something new to see and hear. The performers and attendees alike brought the post-apocalyptic wonderland to life with their incredible artwork.
And of course, yours truly was there, representing my tribes and dancing the night away. I’m excited to share pictures from the evening as they start coming out, but here’s a little peek! Don’t forget to check back for more wasteland-y goodness, and to see where you can catch me next!
